Social Studies

Racine Christian School believes that social studies is the study of human interactions. These interactions are included in the studies of history, geography, psychology, sociology, and government. All these interactions also are under the sovereign rule of our God, and need to be understood in relationship to Him. Since the fall, human interactions have become tainted by sin, but God seeks to turn humanity's conscience back to Him. We see God's hand in the forces that move our world and society. We, as believers, are called to reclaim society for Him. The study of social studies helps students discover God's intentions for us as individuals, and gain the skills necessary to transform society and serve God effectively in His world.
